01. The Challenge

In the US, speed dating events are a popular way to meet potential partners — event planners organize in-person "5-minute dating" sessions where 20–30 participants rotate through rapid 1-on-1 conversations to find a match.

However, these events are geographically limited, capacity-constrained, and offer no data-driven insights into compatibility. Participants rely entirely on gut instinct during a brief 5-minute window with no preparation or follow-up analytics.

Jeter AI set out to digitize and supercharge this entire experience — bringing speed dating online with AI-powered compatibility analysis, intelligent conversation assistance, and scalable event management for organizers across the US.

02. Project Management Strategy

I coordinated the end-to-end delivery across a lean 5-person team, driving the product from concept to launch:

1. Requirements Discovery & Event Flow Mapping: Worked closely with the founder to map the real-world speed dating flow into a digital product — defining user journeys for event planners (create, schedule, manage events) and participants (register, take compatibility test, join video sessions).

2. Compatibility Engine Coordination: Facilitated the design of the AI compatibility test system. Users take a structured assessment and share a unique link with potential matches. The AI engine cross-analyzes both users' responses to generate a compatibility score and identify shared traits, values, and interests.

3. AI-Assisted Video Chat Integration: Coordinated the WebRTC-based 1-on-1 video chat module. During live sessions, the AI uses compatibility test results to surface real-time conversation prompts — suggesting questions, topics, and icebreakers tailored to the specific pairing.

4. Sprint Management & QA Orchestration: Ran structured two-week sprints with daily standups. Coordinated test cycles across the compatibility engine, video infrastructure, and event management flows to ensure a stable, bug-free launch.

03. Business Impact & Results

The platform launched successfully, bringing AI-powered speed dating to the US market:

- Full Platform Delivered: Shipped a complete matchmaking ecosystem — event creation, user registration, compatibility testing, and live AI-assisted video dating — within the 6-month timeline.
